The course targets (graduate) students in humanities, social sciences, and medical and health sciences.

The didactic approach will start from SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights)-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 3, 5, 10, 16 and 17) and use these as a framework during the full ten days. Each module will cover one specific target of these SDGs. E.g. one will be dedicated to target 3.1. “by 2030 reduce the global maternal mortality ratio to less than 70 per 100,000 live births” and will include issues such as family planning, contraception and abortion. The overall goal is to provide international and high level lectures that offer a global view on different problems related to SRHR.

Lectures will be given in English by renowned teachers of Ghent University as well as prominent professors of international institutions. The area of expertise of all five faculties will be covered in the lectures and activities.
